The story

Mix Master Mike built his name on raw hand skill - a Bay Area kid who turned two turntables into a lead instrument and took the DMC world title three years running with the Invisibl Skratch Piklz.

For decades he has been the DJ behind the Beastie Boys, cutting live in front of stadium crowds and stamping records like Hello Nasty with scratch patterns nobody had heard before.

Solo, he keeps pushing: Anti-Theft Device, Bangzilla, Spin Psycle, Beat Odyssey 2050 - albums that treat the mixer like a spacecraft. Today he still tours, still builds beat tapes, and still practises like a battle is tomorrow.
